Sports & Remedial Massage
Sports massage is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments.
All done very carefully and respectfully with well trained and experienced hands! This specialist massage works deep in the muscles, realigning the muscle fibres and connective tissues and flushing away the toxins.

Regular sessions will increase joint mobility and flexibility reducing the risk of injury during exercise.
Sports massage is not exclusively for those involved in competitive sports or taking part in lots of exercise! Everyone can benefit from this type of therapy so please don’t be put off by the title!

Kirsty has over 15 years professional experience in providing sports massage services to many clients from all walks of life, ages and stages. She is a fully qualified, self-employed and fully insured practitioner.
Clients have also included elite athletes such as members of the GB Biathlon Team and Outdoor Instructors at Glenmore Lodge, the world class outdoor training centre.
Kirsty's years of experience combined with a deep love of outdoor pursuits such as skiing, kayaking, running, canoeing, climbing and biking ensures that Kirsty has not only the physiological and therapeutic skills but also awareness of the performance required to compete or partake at any level.
Firstly qualifying in 1996, Kirsty obtained Diplomas in Sports Massage Therapy and Advanced Remedial Massage from the Scottish School of Professional Massage and Remedial Studies. In 2002, Kirsty was awarded a Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy from the Sports Performance Services. Kirsty is also a member of the Sports Massage Association (Level 4)
